ultrasonic 3200

Engine building is dirty and being able to clean in the hard to reach areas for many is a chore all on its own. With so much time being spent on cleaning parts we opted to acquire another piece of cleaning equipment.

Enter our new Ultrasonic LLC 3200 cleaning cabinet. This piece of equipment is remarkable and can clean things we can’t normally get access to. By utilizing this system we can remove years of old coked oil and debris from engine parts. Aluminum heads look remarkable just after 1 to 2 cycles in the machine.

We still utilize a hot tank to remove heavy soils, oil and road grime/debris but as the EPA wants to continue their choke hold on ways to clean we have to step up to a new way of doing things. While the investment is not for everyone, engine shops like ours need something like this to not only clean better but in a better time managed manner. This is yet another addition to our shop to aid us in building great engine assemblies.

vapor hone 1000

We are extremely excited to receive our new Vapor Hone Technologies VH1000. This new piece of equipment we’ve purchased will elevate our products by not only providing a superior fit and finish but the overall look and feel of the products we process through our new vapor hone will make our engine assemblies and sub assembly parts look fantastic.

We will offer vapor honing service starting next month Oct 2023. If you’re in need of having your aluminum parts cleaned please get in contact with us.

momo npt90

Our GTP Group C Project for the MOMO NPT90 was a huge project for us. We were tasked to redesign the rotating assembly and rebuild the iconic Electramotive era VG30 4 valve engine assembly. We set out to put the latest and greatest the industry offers now and it didn’t disappoint!

Our GTP VG30 engine assembly utilized a new billet crankshaft, custom forged rods and our HD forged piston. The pistons were ceramic anodized and were topped off with a thermal barrier and DFL skirt coating. Wrist pins were dropped from a 1.00″ diameter for a .927 TP Trend material full DLC coated. We utilized a new Total Seal Ring pack and updated the sealing from the billet aluminum headgasket with cooper seals to our top fuel hoop and copper gasket system. To round everything out we then went in and had custom tool steel camshafts made to get a better cam profile matched to this engines setup. The result netted 1250hp at 31psi of boost on a pair of Garrett G series turbos.

We look forward to more GTP projects in the future. For now enjoy some of the images of the GTP engine assembly and the MOMO NPT90 that our engine assembly is fitted to.

bored & stroked l6

We’ve been busy with many projects at our new facility. One we are pretty proud of is an 3.1L L6 assembly we finished recently. Our client had a short lived engine assembly he brought to us to be repaired. After looking through his build we noticed a lot of damage caused by the parts used and overall setup. We started over with everything new to include our billet L6 stroker kit. Our 3.1L kit is comprised of an 83mm stroke crankshaft, our custom forged tri-beam rods, & custom CP pistons at a 12:1 CR. This new assembly is also running a billet main cap kit w/ block brace. His cylinder head was already CNC ported but was updated with a new billet camshaft we spec’d out for this build.

The assembly was revamped with all new quick disconnect Jiffytite fittings, full custom hardline vacuum system, full exhaust venturi setup and a new ProtunerZ cam sync kit. We had a fun time getting this assembly finished and hope to continue more L6 engine builds in the future.

motoiq project 300zx

MotoIQ did a few articles on some of our products recently. The team are utilizing our 4 bolt billet main cap kit, solid adjustable tensioner & our ported oil pump assembly. Mike Kojima should have his hands full soon. We are excited to see our products on a well known project Mr. Kojima has owned for many years.
