VG30DETT 8QT RACING OIL PAN


This oil pan is designed for the 1990-1996 Nissan 300ZX (Z32).  It was derived due to the need for a better solution to an increase in oil capacity and oil control for the VG30 engine platform.  To date this is the biggest and best wet sump solution offered for this engine power plant.  Design work took 6 months of critical measuring and well thought out plans were implemented.

This oil pan requires the use of a slim/low profile oil filter relocation kit.  Units offered by Moroso or Mocal are available on those retailers websites.  Suggested line use for relocation kit is a -10.   Some customers have used a large Chevrolet oil filter for extra capacity as well.  This unit offers up a number of customizable solutions for installation application.   This oil pan comes with a 1 year limited warranty against defects as well.  Unheard of in the racing industry for aftermarket racing products.

There have been documented 30 degree temperature drops using this oil pan with better oil stability and control while used in a road course application.  A reduction in windage has also been reported.
