VG30ET Billet Intake Manifold

Our SOHC VG30 intake manifold was a much needed part due to the fact the platform for the SOHC variant has never been fully investigated in terms of approaching this component at such a level.

We looked over the requirements and saw the needs the engine was falling short on.  Many throughout the years made decent attempts at making an intake manifold but the problem always was the fact the stock lower plenum was always retained and was one of the biggest bottle necks in the system.

Our idea was simple, increase volume, airspeed and setup the system so that all areas of performance can be elevated.  Of course we understood that this intake was more purpose designed for a dedicated application but the real efforts were to bring this platform that has a huge amount of potential into the modern day age of engine technology.

What we came up with was a very unique and sound application that hit our target and did it all the while looking extremely good and well thought out.

Our SOHC VG intake manifold is constructed of full billet T6 aluminum with carbon fiber plenum assembly.  It has full length velocity stacks inside the plenum to increase not only runner length but to give more volume and tq.  Capacity of this intake is approx. 7L of displacement which is remarkable.  It comes with a 90mm TB and 2 billet fuel rails.  Our system is only setup to run Atomizer injectors as well.  We’ve changed runner length, taper, injector entry and height.  The water/coolant system must be adapted due to the removal of the lower plenum.  We have a full coolant system designed for this to go along with the intake.
